more likely to visit the destination. Studies show that Web sites
that incorporate video into their overall experience attract 29%
more visitors than non-video Web sites and have a 26% greater likelihood
of generating a transaction (Arbitron/North Star New Media).

A just released survey (April 2002) by the comScore
Research Networks reports that online travel purchases in January,
February and March of 2002 increased by a whopping 87 percent over
last year. Nearly $7 billion in travel services were purchased through
the Internet and Internet Web sites in the first quarter.

Nearly two-thirds of all online adults use the Internet
to research travel and browse travel web sites. Nearly one-third
of online adults purchase travel services through a Web site with
airline tickets, hotels and rental cars listed as the most common
