Puerto Angel is a peaceful fishing village along Mexico's southern Pacific coast. Life here is centered around the pier where fishing boats arrive every morning with their catch. Tuna is probably the most common catch, also red snapper, shark, bonito, sailfish, lobster, conch and octopus. The small restaurants along the beach serve these fish a few hours later.
Puerto Angel is more laid back than its flashy neighbors, Puerto Escondido and Huatulco. Although it is just a village, there is quite a lot to do.
