The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is made up of two islands that are filled with intriguing habitats — tropical rain forest, savannahs, swamps and marshes — as well as some of the loveliest beaches in the Caribbean.
Trinidad is located in the Caribbean Sea about seven miles off the northeast coast of Venezuela. It is the largest of the Lesser Antilles islands. The other island, Tobago, is 21 miles farther to the northeast.
